Requirement Analysis


We spend a lot of time understanding the client, their needs and their requirements in detail. This includes getting to know their lifestyle, daily routine, culture, values and aesthetic aspirations We also do space and layout study including current constraints or any specific requests.

Designing & Planning


We prepare detailed layout and drawings to show what we intent to do and how we will go about doing it. These include the number of things – structural, electrical, plumbing, furniture detail layouts, colour schemes, textures, lighting & ambience, project planning, resource allocations and budget creation.

Execution


This is the last yet very pertinent part of the project. This includes a number of deliverables – Sequencing the activities for execution, Resource deployment at the site, Supervision for execution, Periodic site visits & Quality check status reporting & Feedback to client regularly.

Jagruti has been a designer at heart as long as she remembers. As a teenager, she dabbled with fashion designing and loved to play with colours and styles. After post-graduation, she completed courses in 3D and interior designing and worked with a number of well-established firms like Joseph Louis Design Studio. Soon she decided to go solo and established Jagruti Design Studio in 2011 in Pune.

With a string of successful residential and commercial projects, Jagruti has earned a reputation for her innovative, symmetrical yet elegant decors. She believes in creating interiors which will be contemporary, functional but will have a timeless appeal. In the last few years, Jagruti has created stunning, glamorous interiors for upmarket luxury residences as well as minimalist and stylish ones for apartments and flats. Her signature style is creating a harmony using complementary geometric patterns over contrasting backgrounds.

Jagruti is an avid gardener and is passionate about nature. Her strong desire to incorporate the benefits of nature into her design, motivated her to study landscaping as an art and science. Likewise, her fascination for Vastu Shastra led her to study it and learn from it. Today, Vastu Shastra principles are the cornerstones of design at Jagruti Design Studio and are incorporated right at the start of the designing process.

Jagruti believes in investing in people and helping them grow. A self-motivated learner, she always encourages her team to pursue new interests, think out of the box and update themselves professionally on regular basis. Perhaps that’s why her team has been with her ever since she set up JDS!

She took the biggest gamble in her career trajectory when she made the decision to pursue interior design despite having a background in personnel management, thanks to a master's degree in it. However, nothing could stop Interior designer Jagruti Kothawade from pursuing her passion, she knew she had to do something about this newfound love. With her never die attitude and determination, today, she is the proud owner of her very own namesake interior design studio in Pune, India, taking up spectacular interior design projects, both in the residential and commercial arena.
